Installation of 4 Ideal Evomax 120kw boilers to replace old Hamworthy boilers in plant room at factory.

We was called by the company to inspect and service 8 Hamworthy boilers and on inspection by Scott we found many of the boilers didn’t work or pass Gas safe service regulations. Upon our findings we notified the company and started to work on the project of installing a new boiler system in plant room.
Ideal boilers helped with this project every step of the way via their rep Andy Forrest and their great technical team, From advising on which boilers would be the most efficient to designing a new wiring system to connect in to the original system in the factory.
A frame kit was built to hold the 4 boilers as no wall space was available.
4 x 120kw Ideal Evomax boilers were installed and each of the flues were connected into 1 vertical header stack custom designed by Richard at ‘Engineered air systems limited’.
In order to keep the heating side of the system separate to the boilers we installed a 600kw plate heat exchanger. The plate heat exchanger allowed us the benefit of the boilers being on a pressurized system and keeping the radiators on a vented system as not to damage any old pipework.
We have been keeping up with the boilers maintenance and inspecting and servicing the boilers annually.
